We know cob loaf dips have been around for a while, and we can understand why, they’re so delicious and are the perfect option for large groups. To start, you’re going to need a cob loaf; If you’re wanting this to be a gluten-free dish, GF cob loafs are easy to find these days. Most bakeries or health food stores should stock gluten free bread options. Start by slicing the top of the loaf off, you’ll want to leave roughly a 2cm edge. You can either save the top of the loaf to place on top for decoration or cut it up into squares to enjoy with the dip. To create a hollow bowl, scoop out the bread in the middle, again you can save it for dipping.

We also have 2 other mouth-watering flavours in our SuperDip range which include; Smokey Barbeque and Spinach, Herb & Onion.

To make up the dip, we mixed 1 ½ packets with 500g of natural yoghurt in a medium bowl. Be sure to give it a good mix to ensure the mixture is well combined. For a vegan alternative, coconut yoghurt is a delicious substitute for dairy yoghurt. Likewise, hummus is a delicious vegan alternative if you are planning on using our Smokey Barbeque Dip. Once the contents are mixed well, you can spoon it into the cob loaf. With your leftover packet of SuperDip, store it in a ziplock bag and keep it handy in the pantry. It makes a perfect seasoning for meats and vegetables or as a curry spice- the possibilities are endless!

Serve your cob loaf with freshly cut vegetables, our suggestions; carrots, celery, cucumber and capsicum.
